	Gilbert R. Rhoades 77th Memorial Track Meet May 14, 2011 - Lancaster School Results

Over 375 age 7 - 14 boys and girls from 19 north country teams convened with an additional 200 spectators at the Lancaster School. We started off amongst raindrops for the first hour and then finally Mother Nature granted us ‘dry’ weather for the rest of the morning. Thank you to all the parents and participants for working through the varied weather patterns!

The day commenced with NCYMCA, Inc. Executive Director Dianne Rappa welcoming everyone to the day's events. Following the National Anthem and recognition of the volunteers and officials, the events began.

Congratulations to Emma Bogardus of Lakeway, who cleared the bar at 5 ft to establish a new record for 11-12 Girls High Jump! The previous record was 4 ft 3 in., set in 2000.

During the Awards Ceremony eight trophies were awarded for permanent possession, one for each of the four age groups of boys and one for each of the four age groups for girls. Individual certificates were also given to the school coaches for their presentation to winning individuals of all the first four places in each event and to all members of the winning relay teams.
