Over 340 boys and girls, ages 7 to 14, from 10 North Country schools, convened with more than 200 spectators at the Lancaster (NH) School, host of the 76th Annual Gilbert R. Rhoades Memorial NCYMCA Track Meet. This signature North Country YMCA event is always held on the second Saturday of May. We are grateful for all the participants and parents who made this event a success, in spite of the wet weather that arrived after the first hour of the meet.
The day commenced with NCYMCA, Inc. Executive Director Dianne Rappa welcoming everyone to the day's events. Following the National Anthem and recognition of the volunteers and officials, the events began.
