Over 300 boys and girls, ages 7 to 14, from 12 North Country schools, convened with more than 200 spectators at the Lancaster (NH) School, host of the 75th Annual Gilbert R. Rhoades Memorial NCYMCA Track Meet. This signature North Country YMCA event is always held on the second Saturday of May.
The day commenced with NCYMCA, Inc. Executive Director Dianne Rappa welcoming everyone to the day's events. Following the National Anthem and recognition of the volunteers and officials, the events began.

During the Awards Ceremony eight trophies were awarded for permanent possession, one for each of the four age groups of boys and one for each of the four age groups for girls. Individual certificates were also given to the school coaches for their presentation to winning individuals of all the first four places in each event and to all members of the winning relay teams.
