Results

Over 300 boys and girls, ages 7 to 14, from 10 North Country schools, convened with more than 100+ spectators at the Lancaster (NH) School, host of the 73rd Annual Gilbert R. Rhoades Memorial NCYMCA Track Meet. This signature North Country YMCA event is always held on the second Saturday of May.

The day commenced with NCYMCA, Inc. Executive Director Dianne Rappa welcoming everyone to the day's events. Following the flag salute and recognition of the volunteers and officials, the events began.

Olivia Cunningham of Profile set a new record for the Class B Girls High Jump by clearing the bar at 4’ 6”!

During the Awards Ceremony eight trophies were awarded for permanent possession, one for each of the four age groups of boys and one for each of the four age groups for girls. Individual certificates were also given to the school coaches for their presentation to winning individuals of all the first four places in each event and to all members of the winning relay teams.

North Country YMCA is grateful for the generous support of Shaw’s of Woodsville for their donations toward our food concession. Certificate printing was donated by Harrison Publishing of Littleton.

With the tremendous help and cooperation of all these volunteers, the awarding of trophies and certificates was made possible within minutes after the completion of each event and a rewarding experience was had by all!
