YMCA Alpine Club

The YMCA Alpine Club is sponsored by the Greater Manchester Family YMCA and the North Country YMCA. Originally two Outing Clubs, founded in Manchester in 1979 and in the North Country in 1994, the two Outing Clubs merged in 1997 to become the YMCA Alpine Club.

The Alpine Club is designed to bring together those throughout the region with similar interests in hiking, backpacking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking and much more. The club provides opportunities to learn and develop outdoor skills, make lasting friendships and have a lifetime of memorable experiences in the outdoors. Our seasoned leaders run trips which range in difficulty from easy to very challenging, in order to provide something for everyone.
